Cliff Lee to the Yankees,I CALL IT A NO BRAINER

Depending on who you are listening to, the Seattle Mariners scouts have been snooping around Yankee land the past couple of weeks.  Who are they looking at, is the question.  MLB Network, has reported that it is either Catcher, Austin Romine, who is currently playing in Trenton (AA) of the Eastern League or Catcher, Jesus Montero, Scranton-Wilkes Barre (AAA) of the International League.  To Yankee fans, who have the Montero Watch, think to yourself, back to October, when C.C., A.J., and Andy were the only pitchers that Yankee Manager trusted with starts in the playoffs.  Yes, I realize that Phil Hughes is among the front runners for the Cy Young Award this year, but remember there will be “Hughes Rules” this season. Javier Vazquez, well is an enigma, has he possibly turned around his fortunes this season, I am not ready to declare that at this moment, but if Cliff Lee can be traded for and Vazquez has pitched well enough to become a valuable trade piece, it’s a win-win for the Yankees.
