Calling All Tri-State Sports Fans….

Yes we are asking for the fans and the listeners’ help.  As Executive Producer of Whats Brewin, it is my goal to give you sports talk unfiltered the way it was meant to be to all fans and listeners.  The show needs any and all aid you can give it.
George Brew runs one of the best sports shows out there but being on internet radio has its shortfalls obviously.  I cannot say enough about the man and the fact that he puts up with myself on a daily basis.  The show speaks for itself.
In the coming year, Whats Brewin will get bigger and bigger and we would like the fans to be apart of it. Just follow the links and I promise you, you will come back for more.  Simply, let’s do this right and give the sports fans everything they want and then some.
From all of us at Whats Brewin to all of you, we wish you a Happy Holidays and do not forget to listen in tomorrow for Whats Brewin In Football at 10pm ET on Blog Talk Radio.  Thanks again.
Sincerely,

Chris Wassel

Collision Course: Jets Vs Patriots — The Beginning

Over the next week and a half, almost all you will hear from New York to Boston and maybe a little beyond is about this game between two 9-2 teams.  Instead of the usual game breakdown and preview you may get from other sites, we are going to do something different here.
We are going to live the dream with Nick Bakay here.  Nick as everyone knows did the famous “advantage this, that, or push”.  Sorry it was too funny to do this for a game with so many ramifications.
So hey there he is….on the NFL Network.  Yes the patron saint of sports sarcasm.  Okay maybe this is not where I got it from completely but Nick Bakay is always never ever dull.  It is time to do this in style with funny commentary.  Who knows Mr. Brew may even jump in via the comments section.  This should be good.  Are you ready?  Can we dance?  Okay break it down now.  DAMNIT!  See what happens when you babysit little kids, you go all Yo Gabba Gabba on a post.
Now let us try this again.
New York Jets (9-2)
  • Step in crap wins (wins under 10):  SIX
  • Times crapping the bed:  TWICE (GB and BAL)
  • Point THIS D (Times Jets have allowed 7 or less pts):   ZERO
  • Number of Mark Sanchez 300 yard games:  TWO
  • Times the Jets Flight Crew has gone covered up:  TWO (sad Jet fans)
  • Has Mark Sanchez sought a 23 million $ a year deal?:   NO
New England Patriots (9-2)
  • Step in crap wins :  FOUR
  • Times crapping the bed:  TWICE (CLE? and NYJ)
  • Point This D (Times Pats have allowed 7 or less):  HAHA….ZERO
  • Number of Tom Brady 300 yard games:  Yes only TWO
  • Times BB has lost to Jets Disciples:  TWO and they were ugly.
  • Has the law firm had to retain counsel yet?:  NO
So taking these six pack of questions on each side, what do we have here?  The Jets have not allowed seven points or less while the Patriots have not allowed 13 or less.  That would be advantage Jets.  The Patriots have less wins by the way of stepping in the golden pile of crap.  Most of the other numbers are relatively even except for the fact that the Patriots crapped an entire second half against the Jets in meeting number one.
However it is time to say the following.  The Patriots have this key thing.  The Jets do not play well in Foxboro.  So add in all these crazy facts and we get this one question.
Who will win this one?

The answer will have to wait FOR NOW…….

Whats Brewin Tonight!

So Chili was finally sacked today.  If you picked the former Minnesota Vikings Coach to go first in our Coach Dead Pool, then you won.  The reality is unless you were abducted by aliens for the past year, you would have known that Mr. Childress had the look of dead man walking for about almost the whole NFL season.
John MacLean is believed to be next and maybe Brent Sutter or Tom Coughlin can enter the tournament as well.  So what is going to go on with the show tonight when it starts at 9pm ET?  Well I think its time for one of those newfangled show outlines.

This Just In…..

There is a show tomorrow.  This is not to alarm people but I could swear I heard that Rutgers was indeed the State University and then something about a toxic waste dump.  Reports suggest this may have come from George Brew at the NFL Draft.  Either that or it was the Original Sin Cider talking or was it some other beer?  No one can really confirm this.
However, 9pm ET tomorrow night, there will be three hours of sports talk that borders of the insanity that is the sports landscape. The fun part is you never quite know what you are going to get on Whats Brewin or on this blog for that matter.  Do you want proof of that?  Really?  Okay okay take a look at this.
Classic Bloopers.
Now do not forget to listen to the show tomorrow night.  THREE HOURS starting at 9pm ET on Blog Talk Radio.
